Snowflake Meme, Day #8

I finally got some recs posted for the rest of the Snowflake Challenge! Day 2 is here (22 recs, if I'm counting right, in six fandoms + a panfandom rec), and Day 6 is here (2 recs in two fandoms). As you can tell, I got a little carried away with Day 2.

Day 8 asks us to talk about something we're good at. I think I'm pretty good at things like data-collection and organization--not physical organization, but...like, back before delicious stopped being a functional bookmarking service, I had a really organized system of recs. (Things you could sort by: characters! ships! kinks and tropes! episode-related fic! type of AU! etc.) This is, frustratingly, one of those things which is actually relevant to my job-hunting process but which I cannot exactly put on my résumé because all of my examples are fannish.

I like gathering up statistics and trying to spot patterns in them, even though I'm completely untrained.

Why, yes, potential employers, I actually do have buckets of experience organizing things on the internets, but, oops, I can't tell you about it because it's all fannish and under a pseud. But I really did learn, from the ground up, good practices for things like delicious accts (before delicious when kaboom)!
